Why FOSS?

• there’s an ecosystem around computer stuff, too.
• if FOSS is renewable organic sustainable, then proprietary is plastic industrial exploiting
• proprietary software cannot be re-used (like plastic), only thrown away and replaced, whereas FOSS code can outlive its project.
• if you depend on software
• how much do you value IT? => how long do you want/need IT to work properly?
